The Peer Mentor program is one of the shining jewels of UL Lafayette and the Office of First-Year Experience. Over 100 sophomores, juniors, and seniors volunteer their time each year to provide help and advice to first-time freshman enrolled in the UNIV 100 first-year seminar. Peer mentors are current sophomores and above who are paired with a faculty member and are assigned to a section of UNIV 100 (First-Year Seminar). This large student organization is run for the students and by the students.
